Wine district of Primorska. 'Garden of Slovenia.' Mediterranean climate, Roman fortresses, medieval settlements.

Program

We visit the Vipava River Karst springs. Then Ajdovscina (Roman fort Castrum Ad Fluvium Frigidum) and the 394 AD battle site. We explore the old town medieval walls and industrial heritage along the Hubelj river. We end in Vipavski Kriz with wine and juice tasting.
