Program
Day 1: We cross the Vrsic pass (highest road in Slovenia). We visit the Russian Chapel, built by Russian prisoners of war. We see the oldest Alpine botanical garden and military cemeteries. Lunch in Bovec. We continue to the Kobarid Museum, described as 'one of the world's best WWI museums.' We visit the Italian Ossuary where 7,000 soldiers rest. Day 2 (optional): German Ossuary Tolmin, Javorca Church of the Holy Spirit, Kluze fortress.
