Slovenia's oldest city. Medieval architecture, Roman monuments, wine center, Ptujska Gora Gothic basilica.
Program
We visit Ptuj Castle with its famous carnival mask museum, then walk through the old town - the Orpheus Monument, Town Hall, and St. George Church. After lunch, we visit a wine cellar for tasting. We continue to Ptujska Gora Basilica with the famous relief of the Virgin of Mercy, and end at Statenberk Castle.
