Slovenian Capital - Ljubljana

We begin at Congress Square, continue to the National and University Library designed by architect Joze Plecnik. We pass the Krizanke Summer Theater, cross the Cobblers' Bridge, and arrive at Presernov trg with its Franciscan Church. We cross the famous Triple Bridge to the old town, visit Plecnik's Market, and the Cathedral of St. Nicholas. We then take the funicular (70m ascent in 1 minute) to Ljubljana Castle, where we visit the tower, the museum, the prison, and enjoy a virtual presentation of the city's history.
